Dice 4: Success!

With more knowledge about cylinders and therefore support structure nails, I tried another dice. In Creation Workshop, my nails are 1.5 mm bases and bodies (radius measurement), with only the tip changing to a radius of 1.0 mm. This should work well with 13 second exposures.

This time, I made sure all my nails would not start on a lift hole, by taking a picture of the lift with the projector at a full on, fixing perspective, resizing, and measuring by pixel where the holes were.

The pigment gets squeezed out near the lift holes when the lift is just under the surface

I had a few starts to this dice. Some of my supports were not turning out. Looking closely, I was starting the lift too close to the surface, causing pigmentless "rings" near the holes. I decided to start the lift lower to prevent this, but knew I would need more exposure time on the first layers to ensure they would fully form and stick to the lift plate. I tried 17 seconds, then jumped to 26 seconds when only 1 of 8 formed. This worked wonderfully.
